As Melbourne enters COVID-19 lockdown for a second time, we look back at City Sessions. The Sessions were managed by Activate Perth, the East Perth Community Group and West Perth Local. And supported by the City of Perth and WA Police.
East Perth residents had expressed enthusiasm for an Opera on the Cove for some years. Ironically, it took a lockdown for it to come to fruition.
Sopranos, Penny Shaw and Fiona Cooper were recorded live to an iPhone performing Puccini's "O Mio Babbino Caro." In a word, magnifico!
