MURAL ON LANGLEY PARK PAVILION

East Perth Community Group has unveiled one of its more ambitious projects to date.

Representatives from City of Perth, State Government and a large group of community volunteers involved in delivering the project came together, marking the completion of the Mural on Langley Park.

With the City carrying out renovations on the old Change Sheds, the mural funded by the WA Government as part of the election commitment grant program, added a perfect finishing touch.

Not only does it make a colourful addition to the park, it provides permanent visual reminders of a diverse history, and what Langley Park means to the community, with content cues drawn entirely from ideas submitted during public consultation.
